A competent political party would make a mailer with this quote on it and send it to everyone in his district.

Did boys take a separate SAT back in the day? Because I got 1580 on my first and I don't think anyone has ever suggested that I'm a godlike genius who should be charged with overhauling the government and global economy. On that or any other basis

Listen I know there is nothing more pathetic than grown ass adults who remember their SAT scores, but if the Mediocre Smart White Boy Class is now using their 1400 scores to claim god emperorship we may have to take some cringe for the team

remember how i told you yesterday that i've talked with people who are volcanically angry? boy, do i have a story for you coming on monday.

Many are asking what should we do now? “We use our power, organize, mobilize, educate…the American story will not be written by who occupies the White House or by the wealthiest among us…it will be written by you, by ‘we the people.’” -fmr VP Kamala Harris receiving the NAACP Chairman’s Award.

In November, they voted for Trump. In February, he laid them off. For the next election, they're thinking Trump.

It's beyond Obama. The bigger truth is about Black progress in America in the 20th/ 21st century-- Black advancement helps open the doors for so many other marginalized groups to rise. They want to kill the path of govt/educational/ career advancement for EVERYONE not white, straight, and male.

This is a wild, WILD situation. The President is at least allowing, licensing these emails though clearly not directing them. Meanwhile parts of the uniformed military are directing civilians within DOD to ignore them. Same at State and according to Dilanian FBI. But DOJ is saying do what the ...

It is a twisted combination of funny and frustrating that every Nazi dog whistle they did over the past decade plus, yes, including that OK symbol thing, got downplayed into oblivion by many of the people who feel like they are just all of the sudden heiling out of nowhere.

I believe we’ll look back at tonight as a major turning point.

Wow…I had to double, triple check to make sure this tweet from Senator Smith was real. Rare to see a US Senator tweet like this. Not complaining, just surprising.

Lol. I missed that the author of NIST 800-63 Appendix A had formally apologized for his sins

OPMs email servers trying to hold back all the external troll emails they’re getting in response to DOGE.

Dear Mr. Musk, What we found out is that each one of us is 1. a brain 2. and an athlete 3. and a basket case 4. a princess 5. and a criminal. Does that answer your question?

Consider how much of a problem you have being online and then ask yourself how often you’ve actually done this

That's 9 tweets an hour (plus replies). This dude is allegedly running the world's 7th biggest company (by market cap) as well as like 6 other companies and completely overhauling the federal entire government. And high as a fucking kite the whole time.

the melt down is going to be so fun to watch. considering the agencies telling their employees to ignore that email I'd say it begins ***now***

The man demanding bullet-point summaries from all federal employees spends all his time tweeting from the k-hole.

This is noteworthy, but for me there's this one: The outside world mostly unfamiliar with mental illness is seeing a personality disorder on an extended manic streak. Keep an eye on him, these never last. And when he goes down? It's gonna be bad. Gonna hurt a lot of good people on the way down.

Musk has tweeted more than 220 times in last 24 hrs. That's not counting the replies.

Gee, why isn't DOGE flagging this as wasteful spending? www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...

Dear OPM FOIA staff - Remember to preserve all of these email responses, as we will be submitting FOIA requests for this consolidated compilation of information on what the entire federal government did last week. Thx - FOIA community

1. Put the lime in the coconut 2. One bourbon, one scotch, one beer 3. Dazed and confused 4. Slippin' and slidin' 5. Whole lotta shakin' going on

1. I covered the waterfront 2. I drank alone 3. I put a spell on you 4. I walked the line 5. I didn't feel like dancin'

Okay the trans thing is the real attention-grabber here but it's also insane that he consistently, repeatedly highlights the Gilded Age–when bosses were mowing down strikers with machine guns and 8-yr-olds worked in the mines–as America's golden era

This is nuts. But it’s effective fascist propaganda.

coming this holiday season

DOGE is like if Fyre Festival was a government agency.

Honestly though, this feels like one of those deals where they pretend there's going to be free super bowl tickets to catch criminals. I bet they could serve a lot of outstanding warrants at this little nazi glee club event.

I know I'm not the only Jew on this website that is getting tired of y'all continuously posting sieg heil photos. We can effectively talk about how bad shit is without posting the photos. I promise you we can. Some of us still have living Holocaust survivors in our circles, ffs.

Call. Be loud. If you like your $6 shipping from small businesses, CALL. The cheapest I can ship dice to you from not-USPS is $15. CALL.

forgive me for blocking you but you said something really stupid and I have enough stupidity from the Trump administration goodbye

Last night's Pentagon massacre is much more than realized. Not just firing the black CJCS and first woman CNO but all the senior JAG officers and hiring a man who just joined 3 different crypto firms tied to Kushner and Thiel as Chairman. I did a deep dive into it open.substack.com/pub/fpwellma...

Prior to Blockbuster eating the market before becoming Netflix chum itself, video stores were seen as THE small business opportunity and they flourished. My small town had at least 8 at any given time. They always smelled like those thick plastic cases and were usually festooned in posters.

This is the Beijing-Shanghai corridor, which takes 4 hours and 18 minutes to cover 800 miles. That’s the same distance as NYC to Chicago, which currently takes 20 hours by train. (Tansu Yegen)

All this bullshit immediately crumbles when it's presented to anyone who's not a sympathetic cohost on your podcast

A new website created by about a dozen federal employees, called “We the Builders,” aims to be a secure outlet for government workers to share stories about how their workplaces are being impacted by DOGE, and a place to explain the real-world impact of its access to government tech systems.

THEORETICALLY if you are a reader of indie media and could get a package subscription to several networked pubs, is that a thing you would want? ALSO THEORETICALLY, if you run an indie publication, would you be interested in being part of something like that?

There are 3 special elections coming up and those 3 seats are the keys to stopping the Congressional Republicans doing Trump & Musk’s evil bidding. We need just 1 seat to block them, 2 seats to stop them, and with all 3 we can FLIP THE HOUSE. Join us!! Monday 2/24 @7:30 EST. 👇👇 mobilize.us/s/Y9NrBb

There is value in reading classic literature even if you find some concepts or words to be offensive, or if the author was a terrible person by modern standards. The popular idea found in popular books that reading bad things by bad writers makes bad people is unsupported by reality.

Oh, and "kill your darlings" is bad advice. Just taking out the lines you really like doesn't make your writing better. The phrase should be "don't let your darlings hold you back". If you end up at a point where a line you like is clashing with the work as a whole, that's when it needs to go
