How about, we just say that the guy that promotes far right AfD propaganda on the website he owns and does the Nazi salute after buying our election is on the Nazi spectrum.

ÃŽn Nigerian criminal slang, a "maga" is the sucker whom one scams and deceives. I'm reminded a lot of this nowadays.

China is an ENORMOUS country. it is roughly the same size as the US. most of it is rural & still Developing. But their boom happened later than us. Give them time, even with a "communist" government they have embraced capitalism. their income disparities are catching up with our own.

Unfortunately, most of our currency is in the hands of our country's most wealthy. They own the resources. they own the real estate. they are made wealthy by exploiting you. As they horde money they continue to extract more from you.

Re: groceries
we do pay too much for groceries. this is true. corporate greed is out of control in the US. but we also pay a much lower % of our income on groceries.
Economics is complex. having a high GDP and a strong currency means that our dollar goes exactly for what a dollar is worth here.

and do not forget, we are free to criticize our government. We can talk about the brutality of our policing agencies. We can talk about how our social support structures fail to help the most vulnerable of our population. They cannot do the same.

but please make friends. the less you see people of other nationalities as "other" the less hatred your governments can stir up in you against them.
But just as most of us have incomplete comprehension of all of our country's failings, upper middle class CN users also will have blindspots.

i hop over once and a while to personally shame/tease them and tell them to get on the butterfly already. resist the urge to post content. it only incentivizes the stragglers to stay. :)
I used one of those extensions to find the people I followed who have migrated over.

i used to do geoguesser (as a member of Myspace's unpaid moderation team) on profile pictures of kids obviously too young to sign up for Myspace to illustrate how easy it was to track down a child and pretend like I knew their parents or something.

honestly, it's never been safe to post pictures of your kids on nearly any public platform. folks forget that before instagram and "influencers" most people werent vanity blogging for potential fame. you knew that posting your child's pics released a lot of sensitive identifying info about your kid.

i mean, it's not broken now. I broke it at a midnight premiere of one of the movies. How someone breaks their toe watching a movie? I've always been special like that.
