It is. The old controllers use a different protocol than the new controllers that use a more efficient one. And to save power, the sleeping console only listen to the new one. It's a technical limitation. It would cost more power to listen to both, and thus more battery drain even when sleeping.

It was there even before that. I remember having arguments with my mother's boyfriend over Wind Waker's graphics, he was claiming "Nintondo will crash and burn, nobody want a Zelda with these kiddy graphics" and I was like: "in 20 years it will still look good vs realistic games right now."

As much as I love VR, it simply doesn't sell that much. As a game dev, most people that I know that worked on VR games say: "VR games creates hype, and they put you on the map, but the sales are tiny, most projects lose money, and it's a pain to dev for."

TBF, a lot of games simply don't need it. I have played a bunch of Switch 1 games that was in my backlog, and even without an update they run much better than they do on my old Switch. xD And Nintendo just announced yesterday an update for Splatoon 3, so I guess they are still working going back.

Canadian here too, but mine if from Vietnam. I got mine directly from Nintendo from the direct preorders. Oh, and it was a Mario Kart bundle, if it changes anything. (And I got one with a code, not the one that auto download it when you open it for the first time)

I have been playing a lot of my hundreds of games I had on my Switch 1 backlog, and they feel much better. xD

Same. Heck, a Paizo employee DIRECTLY influenced me by instinctively mentioning me using They/Them pronouns even beofre I convinced myself that I deserved them. Just because it felt right to him, and he had once saw me talking about NB stuff on discord.

Very often (most of the time), Wayne draw the art before the backstory is written/finalized.

Sounds like it was one hell of a wedding eve. I want the full novel of that.

I mean, one of the other "new" dragon design is a horrible sinister clown dragon that uses mockery to ruin lives... of evil people. :P

TBF, fungus are neither plant nor animal! (Just to thrown ever more confusion into the heap.)

In working on a "very moddable" data structure for a PF2 game, one of my "test" that I did on my design was to look at SF2 stuff to see how much I could reduce the amount of extra coding needed. xD

As a game dev that their favorite project ever was working on a mobile sim dating game that had some "monsters" included (like Mothman, a merman, and a centaur prince, among other things), I' all over Monster Match! xD Just sad that it came a couple years too late to geek out about it in work chat.

Yep, like I said, it's the only remaster book that was published before ORC was ready, so it was still published using OGL.

Rage of Elements, Howl of the Wild, the Core books, and War of Immortal were all printed as "remaster". Guns & Gears will be reprinted in May, 3 month after the full size book, like all other pocket edition. On Paizo store, remaster reprints have (remastered) added to name paizo.com/products/btq...

How I "explain" healing magic, is that it brings you back to your "neutral" state, that evolve with time. If you lose your arm, and get all powerful regeneration long after the wound healed naturally, your arm still don't regrow, cause that's your current neutral. Same if you were born like this.

Everything from Rage of Elements onward are remaster (Rage of element is the only remaster book not under ORC) So yeah, Howl of the Wild is remaster, like War of Immortals and NPC Core. But yeah, NOTHING released under ORC is pre-remaster, cause the remaster was mostly to remove the OGL stuff.

Basically, these "remasters" are pretty much errata reprints. Currently, all of these books have been "out of print", and doing a "remaster errata pass" instead of reprinting the OGL-shackled book as is.

Autism is not an "epidemic" because it's not a disease. Saying we don't know what "causes" it is absurd. It's genetic and, what's more, NORMAL FOR HUMAN BRAINS TO BE DIFFERENT FROM ONE ANOTHER.

Indeed, but it's likely that there would be way less (if not no) dropped frames.

They said in a dev interview that all fully compatible games (~99% of the 3rd party, 100% of the Nintendo ones) have a base increase in performances, even without the free or paid packs.

Here in Canada, the consoles HAVE to include English, so if our price would be lower, Americans would be all over it. >_>
comment in response to post
The fact that the price everywhere were teh USA prices converted to local money was so that American don't end up only buying the other countries' stock to pay them cheaper. Japan being 1/4 of the market, and being the only Japanese speakers, made it easy to have a "locked" console.

The "weird" lower-priced Japanese sku really point in the same direction.

Every year, "raw" numbers matter less and less because of all the efforts of including "shortcuts" and "pre-baked" optimized calculations right in the chips.

They just need to also move the rare metal mines there too. Simple.

Note: The "basic" camera also come with a privacy cap. This is not just the piranha plant one.

Seriously... And mentioning ANYTHING about it have bunch of $/"%$&" jumping on you and excusing it... :X

Because Japanese is hard to learn, and very localized to Japan.

Yeah... That's the "price" of trying to go against scalpers AND staying region free... can't have regional pricings that differ from straight USD price conversion without scalpers jumping in and buying everything for cheap to resell in US. They get away with JP only cheaper one in Japan...

Pathfinder also do so without sacrificing the non musical ones! I have a Pathfinder gnome bard that stutter and their performance is "telling stories" that fit the situation. They records stories in their spellbook (Esoteric Polymath feat). :3
