Anyway, did you know Ken Liu has a new book coming this fall? You will.

RED STAR HUSTLE/APPREHENSION by Sam J. Miller and Mary Robinette Kowal. I'm really interested to see what @sagapressbooks.bsky.social is cooking up with these doubles and I've never met an SJM I didn't love to pieces. Neat to see that it's a shared setting as well as a thematic overlap!

I do see the typo, but I am merely human and we all need to be reminded of our fallibility from time to time.

And as much as I love being the recipient of that attention, I love even more being the deliverer! One of my very favorite aspects of working in Marketing and Publicity is making personal reviewer connections, saying yes, making readers happy, and getting books in the right hands.

CALL AND RESPONSE by @seraph76.bsky.social. I love that Neon Hemlock has a short story collection in each novella series and I’ve had such a great time with the Kelly stories I’ve already read. This is gonna be a treat!! And available with a full complement of novellas here:

I think of you with Samit’s work in the same breath! Was thinking of your fondness for that one while building the stack.

Sure, but at the end of the day anything that comes from a practicing Mormon has a fundamentally straight valence.

Yeah, you can get a good herbal blend, but whiskey is trickier to dupe.

Yes! I’m not often convinced of the N/A substitutions, but tea doesn’t really cut it here. It’s not an Arnold Palmer after all.

That cover for squire where she has the bruise and the baby griffin was EVERYTHING to me.

THE GREAT WORK by @sheldoncosta.bsky.social. Look, I'm a sucker for alchemy (so much personal lore with alchemy) & all the better when we get to what the western does best: exploring the rot of North America. This is gonna be a fun one for my fall, I can tell. www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-great-...

PEARL CITY by @juliavee.bsky.social and @kenbebelle.bsky.social. The final book in the Phoenix Hoard trilogy! I've had such a good time reexploring my love of urban fantasy with this series, truly perfect summer reading with great fight scenes, dragon magic, and delicious dumplings!

THE BLOODLESS QUEEN by Joshua Phillip Johnson, from @dawbooks.bsky.social. Eco-fiction science fantasy with near future Faerielands. Johnson is a thoughtful writer and I'm really looking forward to this exploration of parenthood and power. astrapublishinghouse.com/product/the-...
