A T told Ss that 5 is odd cause it has a middle as in 11111 & 4 is even cause it doesn’t have a middle as in 1111. While this is true if you did that 4 every # it would be cumbersome & inefficient. Also, it seems like a math trick & I’m not sure Ss understand odd/even #s at all. Thoughts #mathpeeps?
