I’m proud to see both of mine here, Oberlin and Rutgers.

In the “nice little things to do for yourself” and “how to make cleaning actually happen” categories: Today I bought myself a feather duster. Just at the grocery store! It is really fun. I feel old fashioned and silly at the same time, which are two of my favorite states of being.

We requested that our local library refresh its collection of the Dragonbreath books by @tkingfisher.com and now our seven year old is gobbling them up. Yes, my husband and I both work at the library, but anyone can make purchase suggestions. Try it!

Start reading this thread because Rowling makes you mad, too, but keep reading it for a beautiful, angry declaration of the loving responsibility good children’s authors feel toward their readers.

To all trans people: Your lives matter. Every step you take toward living as your true self is a testament to the strength & resilience within you. You are deserving of love, respect, & kindness. Never forget that you are valid, worthy, & more than enough, just as you are. Keep shining! ♥️🙏🏻♥️

My children bought themselves melodicas yesterday with their very own money. They have little carrying cases and are calling themselves “The Melodica Brothers.” Look out, world!

I'm sorry but Jasmine Crockett saying, F"ind a little trans child that is ruining your life!" is well giving me life. She is both very right and very funny.
