I enjoy that the legend on the Science Rendezvous map at the U of M comes with this warning.

Today is Red Dress Day. With my grade seven classes, we'll be reading an article from Niigaan Sinclair about MMIWG2S+ and the need for action, plus talking about the Calls for Justice. #RedDressDay teacherbees.ca/books-for-re...

I took students on a field trip to the library today and it was fun showing them all that the library has to offer. Books! Magazines! Board games! Video games! Teen paint nights and other programming! It has everything!

Disinformation is getting harder and harder to avoid, and generative AI is like the final boss in a game no one wants to be playing. Before you head to the polls on Monday, I hope you read my piece. www.winnipegfreepress.com/breakingnews...

This article was completed before presentations were finished. It misses that the last two hours of speakers were in support of the bill and that more speakers will present on April 30. The stories that were shared in support of protecting gender expression were important to hear.

A flock of robins, interspersed with a few woodpeckers, has descended on my neighbourhood. They are everywhere.

Our advanced voting station was hopping this morning.

I'm finishing up a presentation today about online media literacy for the Adolescent Literacy Summit on Wednesday. I am looking forward to seeing folks there!

The Seven Oaks School Division is doing a comprehensive audit of its carbon footprint to create a plan to help staff and students do their part under the 2016 Paris Agreement and signal-boost eco-friendly projects.

Take this as a warning to talk with your elderly relatives about grandparent scams. Scammers are the worst. It is vile to scare and take advantage of vulnerable people.

I just saw my first set of election signs while out and about. So it begins.

I tried looking up why Mark Carney is wearing a 97 on his hockey jersey in his latest ad and Google tells me it is because he is 97 years old and also is not 97 years old at all.
