It's a medical condition as evidenced by the fact that doctors treat it. Can the right wing give us a year off and maybe harass cancer patients for a bit?

Good save.

Yep... although what really gets me is working for existence..you live to work for food and shelter to keep yourself alive to work more...it's like Marx had a nightmare that he was a dog that couldn't stop chasing its own tail.

I'm glad you get it...my poor wife is kind of weirded out by having a middle aged teen girl fawning all over her.

I would like your opinion. I see US transphobia as 99% about trans women. I advocate for trans women because I can be most effective there as a trans woman myself. I figure anything trans women gain helps all of my GNC litter mates. Am I being disrespectful or missing major trans rights issues? π

I know girls here who say they have no friends. I think sometimes that's their social dysphoria holding them back. I get nice responses most every day and I've made a ton of new friends outside the trans community.

Retinal leak? I had that a few times. I need to go in and get checked again. Eyesight seems a little off lately.

I'm starting to think that social dysphorias should be talked about a lot more.

"Maybe asking for 110% was a mistake. If you could just dial it back to about 20, that would be great."

Still struggling. I recently discovered that the kind that you sharpen like a pencil work much better for me than the twist outs. In my larval stage when I didn't have hand tremors, I started with liquid eye liner for goth nights. I had no problem, even though liquid is supposed to be harder.

Have you noticed a deeper capacity for love, post larval stage? My marriage is actually surviving transition so I see the change real time. 11 years together and suddenly I feel like a teen girl falling in love for the very first time π

That's not true. She sees in you the qualities she most values in herself, so at, worst, you'd be an unassembled Lego kit of Becca π

Not at all, perhaps the old metaphors are failing.

Thank you. It's not so bad here, but will be. I was never in the closet, so I'm much less scarred than most. That makes it my duty to defend my sisters, but even people who love me think I'm overreacting. WW2 started in 1938, but no one figured it out until years afterwards.

Red state and they tell me the same...
Just attended a memorial for a friend's trans daughter. Just found out about a horrible thing that happened to a girl I know. They tell me I worry too much about things that might not happen. It's already π€¬ing happening.

It's just starting. Every time the Democrats want something for the next four years, the Republicans will demand a concession and WE are going to be that concession.
Before we can defeat the hate on the right, we have to defeat the silence on the left.

Damn...What did she do now? Knowing her, she probably ate a child, but only after making him listen to her talk about how she was the first female cadet at The Citadel.

After transition, the existence of straight women boggles my mind. I'm not sure if men even like women. You look lovely, dear π

... while at the same time most trans women worship at the altar of femininity. If a cis woman has a "masculine" jaw line she'll likely just deal with it. Most trans women will do whatever they can to hide it. Might even mortgage their house or do Only Fans to pay for surgery π

to say nothing of the fact that cis women are under no obligation to look feminine to use the toilet. Whole thing is stupid.

I've definitely seen pics of trans men that easily overpower me. I don't know any trans men but a lot of trans women go really girly, so I imagine a lot of them go full gym bro. Anyone know?

And every time there is a negotiation, we are what the Democrats are willing to give up π

There are already cases of cis women being assaulted by other women for being in the women's restroom. I can go into any Walmart and find cis women who look more trans than I. Cis women will be assaulted for not meeting Patriarchal beauty standards.

It might drop off again, but ill re-add. My DMs are useless because I blindly followed back everyone who followed me. Nuking everything and re-adding everyone I want to follow or interacted with. I can't support anyone in crisis if my DMs are flooded with bots. I hope they fix the bot problem soon π

Thank you so much. I'm not very clocky and not dating, but I've realized that just by wearing a skirt I'm in more danger from men than I am from transphobes. I think trans women need a cis woman as a mentor for this reason and a lot of others. Most cis acquaintances would be willing to help.

I have similar goals. We should chat. I can't message you, but my DMs are still open. Send me a message with just π³οΈββ§οΈ if you are interested. Kind of busy right now, but I'll get to it.
