I haven’t been sick at all since I quit teaching in 2017. Still haven’t had covid. I knew what this was right away and after a very annoying urgent care visit got my antibiotics started Saturday. Calling my doctor in the morning.

First the nurse on call makes me wait an hour while she goes to lunch. When she finally sees me I tell her look it’s been a while but I have a history of these. No fever, no flu, no covid and she is all “we’ll see about that” and takes my temperature and says nothing so I’m like well?

This morning the inevitable happened, I tripped and landed in downward dog pose on the dog mattress and IT HURT LIKE HELL. But less than it might’ve. Gonzo is still only using it ⅔ of the time. I do get solid core workouts almost daily 🤷♀️ and that’s just self and pet care. I hurt even more and
