And also don't forget that some kids will just get their parents ID and "verify" their age that way‼️

You also have the very possible problem that someone accidentally get's seen as "too young" when using the face scan method and then they could either lose their account (in a really bad case) or they'd have to give Discord a photo of their ID or driving licence, to verify that...

...scam using a QR code was less likely, but if they're starting to use QR Codes now, to ask people to verify their age, scammers could use it to hide their stuff with it, making a scam look like you just have to verify your age and then they just steal your personal information and your account.

I understand that it's there to protect children and wanting to protect them is good.
BUT with this process you're opening more options for scammers etc. to steal accounts and personal information.
