That's an awesome shot! I hear them regularly in my garden but in 15 years I've only ever seen them out in the open a handful of times.

I thought it had been pulled? Also IANAL but surely this wouldn't pass any kind of constitutional challenge anyway?

The worst thing you can ever do is think my side is good its the other guy. Politicians are scum. Its in the job description. Right now the right are more corrupt but its just timing. A few years and couple elections and left will be the scum.

There is. Its called an annual renewal fee. Registries don't like squatters but without the fees they pay we would have to increase domain fees several times higher than they are now.

Hell no. We don't want him back.

Someone who doesn't show up because the party isn't left enough wouldn't have voted anyway. Democrats lost the popular vote for the first time in 20 years. That's not just not showing up. The swing voters are the ones who really matter. Make it easy for them to choose.

No! At this point the normies already think the Democrats are whiny. Eg: Blanket coverage of Elon's stupid Nazi salute thing. Normies watch the full video and go meh, maybe, what's on TV? At that point they stop listening. Save the attacks for when its real.

Right-wing media are a problem but the politicians are still lying bastards. Pasture land is running at about £7,750/acre (2023 prices) and the median farm size is about 200 acres so about £1.5 million a farm. That's about as complicated as the average vote will understand.

IHT is just plain stupid from start to finish. Its a tax on property already paid for with after tax money and the real rich bastards can afford to pay for tax lawyers and accountants to dodge it all anyway. This is really REALLY going to hurt them in the next election.

Would a crystal ball or similar work instead? Bonus points for coolness and you don't have to sand it.

2010. Interesting. Then the writer lifted that text straight out of the novel. The wording is just so similar that I can't believe its not plagiarism, down to the text about the ice cream dripping.

Not defending the man but come on. This is Marie Claire. More likely someone used chatGPT to describe meeting a stalker and it lifted the text from Stephen King.

Also there was an election on the way. That always adds extra insanity.

It's called Deadcatting (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_ca...). Elon is a master of this. Every time bad news comes out about Tesla he's spews forth on something insane and that's suddenly all anyone talks about. You can see he's advising Trump now.

That looks really cool. What's the device under the center monitor? Audio amp?

Sure. But I also remember how much perfectly good kit was replaced because "it's not y2k compliant" The company I was working for at the time made serious bank replacing things like dumb terminals and network cables. A lot of it was real, but there was a lot of grifting going on as well.

At the time DANE (RFC7671) was an upcoming competing standard where the certificate details were stored in DNS. It would have taken over if LE hadn't been free. So I guess the real heroics here was Let's Encrypt saving us from needing to use DNSSEC everywhere.

No. Its getting flagged because there have been multiple Bluesky posts every day. Its starting to smell like astroturfing and people are sick of seeing them.
