The task of the government to make sure the market mechanisms work efficiently. Not to substitute the market forces with its influence. If some big player gets huge margins there should be a fertile soil for small businesses to get in and absorb those creating more competition -> reducing prices

There are market forces that formulate the price of the products. It is silly to blame the companies for raising prices but not the one who created such circumstances. The ultimate goal of for-profit companies is to maximize profits. If market is ready to pay more - charge more.

Nobody values free stuff but it must be affordable to a person who works. US healthcare is a fraud which simply enslaves citizens with unreasonable prices and as a result sky-high insurance rates.
