18F was doing exactly the type of work that DOGE claims to want – yet we were eliminated shortly after midnight. Read our letter to the American people: 18f.org

In times of great personal despair, I find some beauty or.. peace? in how blissfully unaware most are. At least the world has yet to affect them so greatly. If only their blissful ignorance was not what causes my pain.

“The world you live in—your nation, your people—is not the world you were born in at all. The forms are all there, all untouched, all reassuring, the houses, the shops, the jobs, the mealtimes, the visits, the concerts, the cinema, the holidays.

blog.codeberg.org/we-stay-stro... Kudos to codeberg here, this may tempt me to finally move from GitHub to Codeberg.

Cool moon tonight

When plants are too dry, their leaves curl upwards. Is it to capture more rain towards the center?

PSA: Jonathan Blow blows. 👎

Thank you for writing this thread @threnody.bsky.social - put into words what I cannot.

To my friends out there, embody Kimchi’s energy. She cares for others deeply and is super loving, but most the time just wants to be left alone and respected. She also ain’t afraid to F shit up and play dirty if the situation calls for it. Kimchi is a boss. P.s. hug your cats :)

Yesterday I completed 8 (out of 16) chapters of "OS in 1k lines" using Zig. Everything worked first try thanks to the book being well written, help from chat, and Zig crosscompiling for riscv32 seamlessly. https://github.com/kristoff-it/kristos

Tired of typing your compilation command commands by hand in your terminal? Try a makefile or bat file instead!

Tired of listening to internet clowns speak about Zig? Looking for something that educates you on it instead? Well, you're in luck! Tomorrow at around 11am CET @ToggleBit will do some Zig live on Twitch (twitch.tv/togglebit) and will go through a draft of the first chapter of an upcoming Zig book!

KPMG is using Zig, interesting. https://kpmg.com/nl/en/home/insights/2024/12/zig-strike-the-ultimate-toolkit-for-payload-creation-and-evasion.html

This is the terminal I've been using for the past few years as my daily driver, its fantastic and you should try it :)
