It’s not possible to censor this information or keep people away from it, and even if it was you’d just end up with kids knowing something is wrong for a decade before it all clicks and they rediscover it for themselves. Speaking from some experience here.

Could be! Although I think it doesn't happen with all plants? e.g. citrus trees and banana trees do this, but I think if a pepper plant is too try its leaves droop downward?
