Democrats didn't help Republicans avert a shutdown, they helped defund crucial programs that millions Americans rely on to survive. time.com/7268499/sena...

Protests from here in Philly over the last couple of weeks. If Democrats in Congress won't fight for us, we'll fight for ourselves.

Congress works for you. Demand a town hall from your senators and representative: indivisible.org/muskorus

EVERY SINGLE DEMOCRAT that voted for the REPUBLICAN DEFUNDING BILL needs to resign IMMEDIATELY!! Chuck Schumer (NY) Kirsten Gillibrand (NY) John Fetterman (PA) Brian Schatz (HI) Dick Durbin (IL) Maggie Hassan (NH) Jeanne Shaheen (NH) Catherine Cortez-Maso (NV) Gary Peters (MI) Angus King (ME)

“The first truth is that the liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than their democratic state itself. That, in its essence, is fascism - Franklin D. Roosevelt youtu.be/iJ-Ivzb62rk?...

It's good to know that senator John Fetterman of PA is willing to back a bill that will cut Medicaid by $880 billion and SNAP by $230. Programs that millions of people in his state and the country rely on. youtu.be/A_6vHYqTouU?...

David Harold McCormick and John Karl Fetterman represent my state of Pennsylvania. The GOP passed a resolution that would cut Medicaid by $880 billion SNAP by $230 billion, while giving tax cuts to the rich. If either of them vote yes on this resolution, they need to be protested every day.

Insurance companies make billions of dollars every year by basically telling us that if we don't pay them for the ability to see a doctor when we get sick, they'll kick us off our insurance and let us either die or spend the rest of our life in debt. There's a word for that: Extortion!

CLASS WAR!

If Democrats want to regain working people, they must disavow Big Money. That starts with banning super PAC donations in Dem primaries. There’s no way the party can speak for the majority of working people in America if it's beholden to corporate interests.

FDR passed social security, the the Wealth Tax of 1935, called out corrupt corporations and members of congress and actually fought back when they tried to screw working Americans over. We need Democrats like FDR back. We need attack dogs, not timid little puppies.

Wanting to limit wealth is not a crazy idea. Huey Long had a "Share Our Wealth" program which included bills to limit and redistribute wealth among other things. www.hueylong.com/programs/sha...
