what's the over/under on 2025 for the year this white house press office actually abandons $usd and starts using trump's #bribeCoin? it would sound smart, too: buying an f16? "well it used to cost $70M for the 70/72, but we are proud to report they're only 6.18M ␈TRUMPs!" sounds like a no-brainer!

also i still don't think #trump #tariffs are actually even possible to be charged and paid. so much of our trade agreements is linked directly to legislation, which is why presidents can't just drop tariffs on countries or companies. there's no way for them to even pay them AFAICT? empty threats?

i know as a security and privacy professional and photographer and writer i should be big mad about #AI? but i like that i don't have to dredge through 3 households, 3 school districts, and 3 children's appts every time i travel: "when is a good week for me to be in PHL?" "6/16>24" book flights!

speaking of #RabbitOS in some posts this morning and out of all the new features and capabilities they've given the #rabbit #r1 and #rabbitHole portal my favorite is the onboarding call you get when you enable the memory feature. if they just let me push a button & talk to that agent i'd be happy.

i really enjoy jony ive's work and think he's an amazing product designer that i would put with Frank Lloyd Wright in terms of influence and significance. mundane things like a phone or computer become beautiful and extraordinary. whatever he's building for Altman will be the heading others follow.

i submitted a request to #rabbitTech because i would like to try installing Android 13 and using my own Gemini assistant and see if i prefer it to the way the #r1 usually works. i like that they added a memory feature, the initial setup with the voice "call" was great. why can't i do it again? #AI

anyone else running #HASS or #homeKit and about to rip every #AugustLock out of the house due to them being completely unable to stay on a wifi network and slurp batteries like free margaritas? they even have LoS! two different networks two houses, ubiquiti UDM at one, Comcast #XB8 in the other.

the Internet is headed into irrelevance and there isn't a viable successor yet. it's probably up to us.

if this means i can't have my #r1 speak to me as if Dr. Sharon Fieldstone of #tvPlus #tedLasso anymore i'm going to be furious :joy:

i am really not loving all these opportunistic #coinbase scamps. i know they do it because it works, but i wish it would stop breaking my heart a little every time.

i am picking up my special lady and the dawg at the airport in about an hour. i am considering greeting her with a ginger and bourbon, but i don't want the dog to feel slighted.

she's a hack on her best days

i really need to start making my own pesto because i can't figure out when i open them and my kids are bonkers for pesto lately. they act like i am chef ramsay even just adding pesto to marinara and pouring it on tortellini 😂 i still can't get the 9yo to try a portobello though.

is bluesky #pkm aware that there is, in fact, an official presence for #johnnyDecimal here and as you may expect it is the actual @jdcm.al and lately there's been some good posts on how you can bring order to your brilliance that resembles complete madness if you're like me.

here in iowa, i don't know any farmers that wouldn't find this humiliating. industrial farms that our governor allows to pollute the rivers will def sign up, but family farms? they're probably all at risk of losing generations of farmland. and saving them with handouts isn't what they want.

you can't actually create "guardrails" in LLMs. it doesn't work. you can only try to slap down individual topics one at a time as they arise, but any clever prompter can get around it TW CSAM (fictional/statutory)
