Recently completed this to clear the decks for the sequel. Breaking into the armoury at night and stealing as much as a could physically carry out the castle gate was my highlight 😄 I felt sorry for Pebbles' back.

I like the small form factors, so here we have something old and something new. The very slick PSP Go and a cartridge based, sturdy Super Pocket.

Thanks, what would you say is a good strategy to avoid overcomplicating ? 🤔

Don't forget Blam! Machinehead too 💥

My serious answer would be: "Vouch for research before we start building" My less serious answer would be: "Know the lyrics to the Sonic R title track 'Super Sonic Racing'"

I'm afraid it looks to be true 😡 On the same day they posted their Jan 7 statement: "...On platforms where billions of people can have a voice, all the good, bad and ugly is on display. But that's free expression..." Awful, rotten company. www.snopes.com/fact-check/m...

Superb! More top tier 32bit titles 🎉 Horrible flash backs of jumping, resurrecting skeletons on The Last Revelation... But I'm ready for them 👊

I'm so stuck on level 2 😭 I can't tell whether what I'm carrying is a necessary quest item or worthless.

Very impressive looking for a first time Figma use, kudos to starting in the sketchpad too. Crack on ✊

They added them to your cart automatically? Urgh..Reminds me of when Adobe would have a pre-checked opt-in to install some McAfee Security software when you installed Flash back in the day. Terrible.

Block Droppin and the Super Pocket look like the perfect Combo, cannot wait to receive my Indie Heroes 4 cart 🙌

We're in a similar situation! I've been tweaking a Squarespace website for just under a year, I'm just not satisfied with the amount of compromises I've had to make. One tweak here seems to have a ripple effect there. I'm close to scrapping it all and trying Framer myself, keep things European 🇳🇱

For users who are trying to reach the footer in search of social media links, privacy or terms information or navigation (if they believe they are closer to the bottom than the top) it can be frustrating to have the footer keep running away from you. I prefer "load more".

Yes, 100%. I hate it. I like to copy my password from my pass manager first so that I'm just left with my email on the clipboard. Would be interested in reading the article myself 🕵️

Ha! It's the usual things really, the typical UX publications on Medium sharing such delights as: - UX is dead. Long live UX - Is UX dead? - UX is dead, long live product design - UX is new! UX is dead! Perhaps the articles are genuinely informative, but I struggle to get past the cliche headlines 😅

Will add, personally I don't expect a lengthy write-up either, simply the key beats which I can start a conversation with to dig deeper in an interview. Everyone will have a different perspective, I'm not aware of a gold standard 😄

Not all outcomes can be measurable though so here can also be learnings or experienced gained, especially if the project wasn't a "success", it can still be a strong case study in professional practice, working with others or in innovation teams.

Not a manager but no stranger to being involved in hiring. For me, I'm looking for: - Brief project overview. - Contributions you made to the project, could be a list. - The "How might we" you attempted to solve. - Your approach or process. - Outcomes, which would benefit from being measurable.

Personally I feel the AI gold rush is encouraging teams to build first and find out what's pointless later. A glut of AI enabled, carbon copy "solutions" which are little value to anyone. Up front, quality research is the cure. I agree entirely. And welcome! 🤗

So cool to see this whole process, thanks for sharing 🙏

Oh goodness, why is that even a thing 🤦 How frustrating!

Curious what examples you've seen (if any) where services have made AI interaction feel natural.

Not exactly glamorous or specialist, but I use Duck Duck Go Chat for generating placeholder copy for prototypes. I trust it over other LLM outlets. Had fun with using Bolt for creating actual coded sites and designs, looking forward to Figma offering something like that.

Not a Substack user but I was under the impression the paywall is a choice of the content creator? (I could be wrong!)
