True, bottling it like the milk at Accrington Stanley. Big half time needed from Arne, the lads look petrified.

i remember Thurston from Sonic Youth being asked about the Manchester scene etc...as if its some sort of threat. He just flicked the question away with an awesome coolness. I was sat there thinking "I bet on these guys". All at teatime on BBC2....

Falling down, it was so ambitious for its time. Re-discovered these guys recently , and definitely wish I'd seen them in this period. Remember I had a BBC2 clip in VHS, think it was a show hosted by the legend @garycrowleyonair.bsky.social

Hey @lonesomebluejay.bsky.social dare I say, I'd love to get yr thoughts on my music, not exactly shoegaze but massively influenced by all the great bands in recent posts - open.spotify.com/artist/0C2Mn... πŸ™Œ

Good point about being Vice Captain. It does require a bit more than it being all about him. He's in a pickle for sure, and honestly, I'm not sure how we got here, but there is a league to win!!

Funny that the previous post to this in my timeline was Flavor Flav coming to Harvard πŸ˜€ (well, it made me giggle...)

πŸ’―agree. Who thought that Referees needed a 'Brand' nevermind appearing on tv and selling their 'services' to other regions? The lino on our side looked gutted when we scored, I almost appreciated his honesty. So much of this aggro is self-manufactured

x2 ! Didn't need to see that evil f**ker b4 bedtime 😳 Just need Nosey Bonk from Jigsaw, and then I'm definitely sleeping with light on!

Interplay, like a lot of Rides music, takes time for it to sink in. After watching them live in Manchester on their last tour, I've had it on heavy rotation . Sometimes, it takes a live show to really connect. Monaco is another classic.

With this absolute legend. Epic night!

It reminds me of that old-school practical joke, putting shoe polish around a pair of binoculars.

Agree, and the Maid Marion series b4 it too! I was way too old for their 'target audience' but made me laugh more than most shows that I was supposed to be the 'Target'. Nothing better than parents and kids being able to enjoy the same shows πŸ˜€

That photo has a great "If Daft Punk were from working class England" vibe πŸ™Œ

It's so great, getting latest updates from people I'm actually interested in here. It's bizarre how X was mutated into a tech version of the Stanford Prison experiment πŸ€”

Reminds me of when in school, me and mates set up our own footy teams as the 'official ' one was ran like a drug cartel..."we just wanna play footy"

As the 80's TV host would reply "Not all at the same time I hope?" That's it, algorithms are the new Jim Bowen πŸ˜„
