My music is never that deep, but I think the feelings I have towards the state of things right now really did come through in a song I otherwise started to be "evil catchy battle theme". It ended up getting a bit of hope in there.

CONVICTION is a track I made the other night that I think is very fitting on the idea to keep on fighting despite all odds.

So I'm finally releasing those. .voices in particular was extremely experimental for me and while I don't have it totally finished as of yet, I still wanted to share that too. March of the GIGA Force is a Volt demo idea.

All of these are basically demos still aside from .atmosphere. I had planned to make a full album of non-videogame tunes that were just electronic jams I had come up with inspired by musicians I like, but I didn't have the time for it.

Link in minish cap was named "my ASS"

I think that was the first game I named anyone FUCKER in all caps haha.

Yes I am still 5 years old at heart and name my characters in games stuff like this because it brings me great joy.

Yes, it's tv time all the time.

Oh I mean use whatever you need to to survive I just don't know why anyone would use it as their primary source of logging on!

I realize this sounded like I was coming at you, so just in case I'll elaborate - I agree with you, I meant the more laid back vibes allow us to log off and not be so terminally online. Maybe people just aren't used to that haha.

Probably due to all the autoplaying media or something, or just other shenanigans haha.
comment in response to post
It's easier to just log off and not spend 24/7 online.

Truly a shame. I mean I wish them well, some of them are friends, but I still don't understand why even with all that in mind - you would willingly subject yourself to -that-.

It's not even that this place is not stimulating, I curate my feed so it's perfect for me - maybe others just don't know how to handle that level of control. But also yes, the other place is just a slopfest now haha.

Anyway I'm enjoying Minish Cap I haven't played it in so long that some parts feel totally new again (it's been many many years) and then I'll remember like a random ass section of some dungeon and go "oh yeah" haha.

I have Mario Kart World but Deltarune was my first completed switch 2 game and then I decided to just go play GBA. Don't get me wrong MK World is fun from what I have played but it's not wowing me in the same way that I enjoyed 8.

trying to implement split-screen multiplayer/multiplayer in general into this. The day we can assign and remove elements from panels natively within gamemaker to the UI layers through code (and not just the editor) will be when this system really pops I think.
comment in response to post
Currently to avoid the fact that I cannot assign instances to the flexpanels themselves, I am making objects that will sit in the spot of the flexpanels. So those are just forever assigned to the UI layers and run their draw logic of their individual elements from a struct or smth.

Honestly it did!

It's soooooo good, I really love their oracle games they did too! 2D Zelda is underrated when people talk about the series sometimes but they rock haha.
