An immensely obscure tiny detail in Super Mario Sunshine is that Strollin' Stus have heightened awareness of Mario if he has no water left. Pumping FLUDD with no water makes them notice Mario from much further away. This took players 22 years after the game's release to discover.

If there is one piece of advice I can give newer fighting game players it's this: Stop caring about hot/headass/nonsensical takes from players. Fighting game players will have terminal "just saying shit" disease from now til the end of time. Just play the games you wanna play and enjoy the ride.
