Water that has its pH adjusted up starts to precipitate the metals dissolved in it, which is actually an improvement. The below stream is starting to drop it's metal after the pH improves and allows the metal to move out of solution .

I've struggled with this one for a long time. I know it's happening, but there's no way I'm buying 8 gal of water per day for the humidifiers. Air filtration + humidifiers is the compromise i've landed on so far, but I don't know what the best answer is. Considering RO just for humidifying

This was at Holloman AFB in NM, just south of the Trinity test site. All kinds of creepy vibes there. When viewing the orthos we found an overgrown giant trifoil you'd only be able to see from space. So, so weird. The F117's flying around were pretty sweet though!

😆 I once had the joy to develop a SOW for the characterization of the radioactive vault which stored the remains of the early primates sent to space. Nobody wanted to actually implement the work!
