My brain did the thing and I've now got a detailed plan on how to set up my new desk while keeping height clearances, future drawer expansions and repositioning in mind. I even got a label maker to label the shit out of all those cables in case I ever need to take one out or troubleshoot a device.

You know, those cheap (€100 barebones) Intel n150 based NUCs are actually pretty cool. I was expecting terrible performance, but so far it handles Windows 11 and everyday tasks like a champ. It even runs older 3D titles just fine at 1080p. Low-key might buy myself a second as a HTPC+emulation rig...

Courier did brrrrrrr and so does my new air conditioner. 10500BTU just wasn't enough to keep my room cool, so let's hope 14000BTU is. Next step: modding this unit with an intake hose to make it at least 50% more efficient and we'll be ret-2-go for yet another moist warm Dutch summer.
