I'm more of a summer drinker when it comes to sweet and refreshing drinks. A tall weizener, ginger mules, downhill racer or my personal favourite; 1/3 spiced rum, 1/3 amaretto and 1/3 Dr Pepper with crushed ice. During winter I mostly sip neat peated whisky's. It just pairs well with the cold.

Fentimans: very strong flavour and burn. Nice when drank ice cold or for mixing to preserve the ginger taste. At room temperature it becomes bitter. 7/10
Bundaberg: simply the best one. Balanced, sweet yet refreshing. The least carbonated as well and even tastes great at room temperature. 9/10

Old Jamaica: needs more ginger, woody licorice ("zoethout") aftertaste caught me off guard. Guess it's nice to switch things up with. 6/10
Fever-tree: perfectly adequate, mild yet refreshing, but far too expensive for what it is. Somewhere between soda and ginger beer. 6/10

Sure thing! Do note these were the ones my local grocery store carries here in the Netherlands. Going worse to best:
AH (store brand): tastes as if Fanta made a lemon and ginger soda. 7/10 soda, but not ginger beer.
Royal Club: more soda than ginger beer. 7/10 soda, also not ginger beer

Instead I'll be visiting Comic Con Holland in Den Bosch. While smaller and more geek focused, the venue is only 20 minutes away from me so I can just browse stuff, say hi to people and leave as I please. It probably won't be as much fun as manning a promo stand, but it's better than doing nothing.
