This is followed by what is basically a radio play called “Jack and the flying saucer” where there’s a kid named Jack who lives on the planet called “boom boom” and he trades his favorite worm for a tea saucer that turns into a space ship overnight.

Real talk: I grew up um let’s say adjacent to Green Day. Saw them live last summer for the first time. Now I’m a huge fan and I feel like I really missed out.
But maybe I didn’t because there’s a lot of “grown up themes” that adolescent me probably wouldn’t have cared about or noticed.
