Thank you!! Yeah, last year I barely drew any illustrations, so at least this time I have some new pieces I'm proud of, even if not nearly as many as I'd wish ^^'

Playing this very serious, delicate and touching scene was amazing and also made incredibly difficult (in a great way) by @replica004.bsky.social giggling and dancing on webcam for the whole scene. 😂 I love my D&D party so much 😭💙

of Avernus and beyond, to protect every ounce of pain and every spark of hope they could share. Then they rode together towards the party's next destination, Evarrin holding on to Warwick's waist and leaning on his back, in much needed rest. Our boyyyyssss @verdbena.bsky.social 🖤🖤

time initiated contact with Warwick (which is a BIG deal, especially the way he did it). Then he openly said that if even knowing of all the pain and corruption that Evarrin carries, Warwick is still open to a relationship with him, Evarrin is open to it too. Warwick replied he'd ride to the end >

Hi! I'm Eren (they/them), trans non-binary fantasy artist and TTRPG creator. I have published my own system-agnostic and D&D 5e supplements, I create affordable TTRPG art on my Patreon, I draw commissions and I've done work for Critical Role. Could I be added, please?🙏✨ bsky.app/profile/eren...

That’s very kind of you, but I wouldn’t want to bother either of you. I’ve had some great feedback so far and I think that is great for now :)

Thank you very much for this! Do you know of somewhere where I could read more about designer and production artist roles? Based on this I feel like I have a very different ideas of what these roles are about, and I’d like to do some more studying (maybe articles, blogs or even classes?).

Awesome! I'll definitely keep it in mind for when I can afford it and I have some more specific questions. :)

I don't have any projects to AD for, this is just a path that I'd be interested to know better, so this is more about gathering base info and resources, and not to get in depth consultations, which are definitely out of my league at the moment. Thank you! :)

And finally: you speak of working with a team and not freelancing. Does that mean that you would recommend getting a studio job as a formative/necessary step to becoming an AD? Thank you!
comment in response to post
Thank you! Can I just clarify if by "consult" you mean "offering consultation services" (as I know you do) or more of a chat about the job?

That would be wonderful, thank you! Would you be ok with sharing how you found those gigs and what was asked of you to get the role? And what previous experience you had in the field? Either here or via DM, whichever better suits you. Thank you!

This is very interesting, thank you!🙏 I would have never thought "designer" and "production artist" would be the lower level positions for ADs! So many ADs I see around are not artists: do you think that is changing? Do designers commission art or direct artists? That feels like AD's role to me?
comment in response to post
I'm happy to move this to DMs if it's better for you. Thank you very much!🙏

Thank you! I'd mainly like to know how does one go about becoming an Art Director? What the necessary skills are, how to acquire them or prove you have them... without being an AD? Seems like it's one of those positions that don't have a "junior" version and you can only get if you're already an AD.

Thank you so much for the lovely comment!

Thank you very much! I'll look into their books, since they seem to accept only submission that are specific to their settings, and I'm only familiar with Exalted.
