Navy vet here. Still talk regularly to those serving. CNO Franchetti had a lot of respect from officers and enlisted alike. Capable and competent leader with a broad skillset. Not a DEI hire but damn good at the job.

I still can’t get my head around the fact that anyone (let alone nearly 1/2 the electorate) voted for this man; that there are that many who would follow a Hitler, that put a felon in the Oval Office, that turn in their neighbors, that believe bold-faced lies. I thought we were a better county 😢.
