So much for democracy! I’d expect this in Russia or Iran, both of which are friendly to one another, to no surprise. I’m disgusted. Just a couple weeks ago, we celebrated Memorial Day to honor those who sacrificed for our freedom. Said freedom is rapidly eroding under a dictatorship. I’m saddened.

Sadly, this confirms to the GOP’s narrative of “cut costs and maximize profits,” which is most expediently attainable by automating as many jobs out of existence as possible. When the jobs are automated by AI, the narrative will switch to the hypocritical, “nobody wants to work.” No brain, no pain.

This is absolutely gorgeous! I wasn’t able to see the aurora borealis from my place in Massachusetts last week, as it was not visible until about 3:00 am. I saw a stunning one in Maine a year ago around 10:00 pm, though. Thanks for posting this!

And, Trump complains about how centralized power is in many middle eastern countries! Look in the mirror, Trump!

The right has always been self-serving, making themselves richer off the back of the poor. Cut Medicaid to fund tax breaks for the one percent…because they need the help? 🤦‍♂️

It’s a racist kind of freedom-loving behavior on the right

He articulated that goal clearly from the get-go, yet, his followers claim to be freedom lovers. His cult members are too dumb to have buyer’s remorse. Heck, they’re hoping he’ll find a way to make himself eligible for a third term. Don’t be surprised if the right-leaning SCOTUS finds a way for him.

It’s downright scary!

Trump has done exactly what he has wrongly accused the democrats of doing. Meanwhile, he’s left Putin, his bff, totally unchecked, virtually rewarded for his heinous acts against humanity. You’d think that they’re brothers.

These are the kind of images we typically see in countries that lack democracy. Think about that for a second, just a second. 🤦‍♂️

Essentially, tRump has zero regard for freedom or our constitution, yet, ironically accused democrats of eviscerating it. He’s such a hypocrite, but we learned that in his first term. Contrarily, the minions who put him in office have yet to figure him out. They’re brainwashed sheep.

We need to protect the Statue of Liberty; otherwise, ICE may seize and deport it, as the French gifted it to us. Lady Liberty might be undocumented and subject to removal without due process. 🤪

If RFK Jr. didn’t have worms inhabiting his brain, he may be able to comprehend this FACT! He has swum in sewage, mind you, so shall we call him 💩 for brains? 😜

This truly restores my faith in humanity. I hope the owner’s business increases, because their profits really represent a triple bottom line. This is community service and kindness at their finest. If you live local to this 7-11, get your gas here; you will be adding to the goodness of this place.

Properly identify yourselves and produce a warrant that proves you’re removing a very violent felon. Yes, violent felons must go; otherwise, GTFO. It doesn’t require being more heavily armed than our Marines to remove a non-violent restaurant worker. This is intimidation of our migrant community. 😳

They’re being conditioned to go full KKK attire. I question how many of these testosterone-fueled, mental midgets are truly law enforcement. I would say very few. It’s scary!

Life is about choices, and none of these choices are hurting you. If you disagree with them, just be respectful about it, as nobody is forcing you to make or to even agree with these choices. You may not, out of common decency, deride another’s innocuous choices. Maybe question your choice to hate.

Happy Pride Month from Massachusetts! My weekend began Friday evening with some drum track I recorded to wrap up my recording season. By late that night, I had developed flu-like symptoms, since which, I’ve been bed-ridden. I’m feeling marginally better this morning. Wishing you all a great week! 🥰

It makes perfect sense to tRump and his minions and everyone who’s supported the “big beautiful bill.” Is this really happening? 🤦‍♂️

Trump originally said that tariffs were a means to regulating inflation, only producing temporary economic pain in his rosy picture that he painted. I called BS on that from the outset. Like everything else he puts his hands on, it’s gotten out of control. He’ll blame the left to appease his minions

AI can bring us solutions to problems that we are not even aware of or are anticipating; however, at the same time, we must be cognizant of the unintended consequences of AI, as delineated in this article, hence the need for sound policy guidance on AI’s real and perceived impacts on our society.

But Debut is done, plus Reputation vault tracks!!

I just saw this in IG; this is amazing! I hope that it’s sooner rather than later that she releases the vault tracks from Reputation. Her full re-recording of her debut album is going to be truly stunning. I’m so happy for Taylor!

This is maddening. Why not just anoint ICE as judge, jury, and executioner? The judge’s verdict was totally negated. Due process? Tell me where. Democracy is being rapidly eviscerated, yet, this past Monday we celebrated Veteran’s Day to honor those who fought for our FREEDOM!

I was admitted to Oberlin Conservatory as a music education major, with jazz and contemporary percussion (drum set) as my principal instrument. I did not attend, though, as I realized that teaching wasn’t for me; however, I’m not surprised by this data set, despite not confirming its veracity.

I’m 46 and nursing a meniscus tear in my left knee and a bad right hip that may need to be replaced soon. I’m on FMLA now, as I undergo physical therapy and await more advanced imaging. The insurance companies are awful to work with. I started very young with my parents’ asphalt company.

Many people whom I follow in the education community have been promoting this title over the past couple of weeks. I just bought a Kindle copy moments ago and will start reading this evening. It looks like an exciting book; I can’t wait to delve into it! Thanks for your review!

As a former tradesman with almost three master’s degrees, I agree that we need more people pursuing trades; however, not everyone has the aptitude for such work, and I barely did but did just fine until my body wore out. People need to pursue education in a manner that reflects individual strengths.

Add the “officials” in the tRump administration, the same idiots who are baselessly attacking teachers for everything these aristocrats don’t like about public education. Let these imbeciles shadow a teacher for a day, including our WWE exec who thinks she’s “leading” the DOE. Bravo to your 7 y/o! 😊

Vaccination should be a personal decision and the risks weighed in consultation with a clinical provider. Yes, there are side effects, but that’s what your clinician is for, with whom to discuss the pros and cons. My 11 y/o now can’t get vaccinated, due to RFK. Who is he to make a blanket choice? 🤦‍♂️
comment in response to post
I saw a link to an article in The Atlantic that COVID vaccines for kids are done. So, as the parent of two school-age children, my freedom to protect my children in advance from exposure to contagion has been revoked by a rogue government administration in DC? How about protecting my adult self? WTF

Today, we honor those who have fought and sacrificed for our freedom. This morning, I’m taking my boys to our small town’s spectacular Memorial Day parade, as I’ve done each year. The significant efforts that our people put into this fine production will always be greatly appreciated by my family. 🇺🇸

Always remember that it is cool to be kind. We can always choose kindness. What you put out to the universe is exactly what it will deliver back to you. Sleep well tonight. I’m bringing my boys to my local Memorial Day parade bring and early tomorrow. Such occasions with my young sons are fleeting.

It’s failed public policies. I know many teachers who work so hard, and their hands are tied in multiple respects. It’s the easy way out to only blame our teachers. Not all of them are perfect, but many give it their all amid very difficult times.

My 11-year-old son codes in multiple languages and facilitates his work with AI; however, he uses AI to inform his coding, not to do it for him. More often than not, he needs to edit AI-generated code to get exactly the result he needs; otherwise, the end result could be messy. AI isn’t perfect.

We cannot let Trump’s cronies on the SCOTUS coronate the orange animal. Our democracy shall not be eviscerated to serve the needs of the 1%. They’re okay, thanks to the other 99%, aka the rest of us.

As I said on another related post, those who are on unemployment should be proffered smart phones/tablets, should they not already have one. Access to the internet should not ever be a privilege, as sucks restriction drives social stratification, which further divides everyone.

Mayor Pete has always been a class above the rest. He sticks to the core issues instead of partisan politics and respects everyone around him, whether you agree or disagree with him.

Access to technology is as critical to escaping poverty as modern medicine is to remaining healthy. I say that state departments of unemployment should offer complementary smart phones/tablets to low-income unemployment insurance recipients. Try getting job without access to and knowledge of tech!
