The point of the piece was not to debunk Musk's claims to working hard but to explain why even they were accurate that would not entitle him to be a dictator. Hope that helps!

In order to ascertain whether or not I indeed accept that claim at face value I would recommend reading the article, and perhaps also applying the basic principles of reading comprehension you learned in grad school
