It's that time again for Island Press's $4.99 ebook sale!

Science supporters concerned with tsunamis and coastal hazards, here's a chance to download game-changing research that can save lives.

I love the varied answers and especially appreciate those of you who frequent libraries, used book stores, and local booksellers, and avoid Amazon. Interesting that no one orders from the publisher. #books #islandpress #scicomm #naturewriting

Applies to science editors too! My friends and family think I mostly fix commas.

I can't WAIT to see what's in this package the FedEx truck just brought me. But first, must pour a cold beverage.

Chilling on the beach at sunset, dreaming of other worlds.

I'm so excited to see this book hit the shelves! Anne is delightfully down to earth as she walks her fellow scientists through the ways to make their research count. Her writing is by turns entertaining and enlightening. #scicomm #science #scienceimpact
