Omgee - Lalas is the worst soccer announcer. Once told my daughter when she asked - he’s just as a bad announcer as he was a back on the US team. He got beat at midfield all the time and just had a mane of red hair so he looked flashy recovering so people thought he was good…

Love the mom who listens with the 11yo twins who enjoys the FUs with them. I enjoy them with my 12yo getting ready in the morning too.

Yeah. Cuz women are busy. Crammed with wall to wall. I have to be conscious about my reading or I find myself scrolling. Or sucked into tv etc when I do have downtime from working or driving kids or helping with homework or doing chores or listening to podcasts (other mediums taking time)

Oh so many gems - better to have played and lost than to have never played! And as a mom of daughters who play high school sports… need to know how cycles affect their bodies for workouts, coaching, parenting, etc. and how medicines, affect their bodies. And should we affect the cycles? #research

I really liked Solito and will read the Hate U Give this year. (“Liked” is hard because the story is brutal in so many ways, but it is captivating!)

Let’s see - just got home from “A Bar of Their Own” in Minneapolis watching NCAA softball with my biggest after hearing my littlest with her platonic Vday wish on Good Game! Women’s sports FTW

Waiting on my child to decide on which one she wants to “meet”… meanwhile I’d love to have a _gofundme_ per child that I could have started when I decided to have children. Just for the sports fees alone.

I also buy them for my children. They get exposed to plenty of non-diverse books regularly. Just slip a book into their rotation with different protagonists for Valentine’s Day or birthdays or whatever…
