I don’t feel bad for them. They are actively choosing to stay in their job and participate in this fascist behavior. If morale is down, leave, and join the movement against this. Put down your arms and refuse to do the bidding of a fascist regime.

He is absolutely a Russian asset. There is no doubt to anyone with critical thinking skills. But congress? Maybe they have been subject to the same threats at DT? But if our military is willing to DIE to protect our freedoms we should expect the same from Congress. They should be held to that standard
comment in response to post
The American people have no control over Congress once they are elected. We need a mechanism going forward. The American people stopping this through different mechanisms would be very dangerous and likely cause a civil war - where the government turns the military on everyone who opposes them.

Unfortunately the only people who could facilitate his removal in a humane way are members of Congress who could vote to impeach him. Why they are so afraid of him, I don’t know. They outnumber him. Leaving it to any other group of people would take us to a place that would be hard to come backfrom

Misinformation from NYT - which is, sadly, all too common these days. Provide context. Where were those jobs? Were they full time or part time? Were they livable wages or minimum wage? Were those jobs filled or were they just created and posted to give the appearance of hiring? Details matter.

anyone else watch that show “the blacklist”? Combination of Starlink and EVERYONE’s personal data = the peak of Big Brother

Anyone remember that movie “short circuit” from the 80s?

Idk, maybe he is on to something. It might explain the brain damage required to vote for these people in the first place. Let’s check out how much fluoride members of Congress and Trump voters have consumed and test RFKs incoherent and moronic ramblings

Everyone better start openly questioning why an authoritarian president with no regard for the constitution wants to give the military a $1 Trillion budget. Continue contacting your legislators and pushing them to reject the bill and major changes such as this

I like strong women, what can I say? You can say you don’t care, but your approach is 100% problematic. If you don’t want others to tell you how they feel and what they think about you, it is pretty easy to stop your fingertips. If you didn’t care, it wouldn’t bother you enough to comment 🤣

The thing is I don’t think you know how to read the room. You go around calling people names and making assumptions - why do you assume I am a centrist? I agree with your points about leaders and democracy. I take issue with how you are speaking to people - it’s very Trump-like so you should reflect
comment in response to post
There are some GLARING issues with your comments - aside from you choosing to be a walking embodiment of how horrible people act toward other people. The other choice was TRUMP. That should have been enough for people to reject. It wasn’t. Why? MAGA has an entire propaganda machine lying for them

Musk is even more of a narcissist who is detached from reality than I thought. The damage is done. “Stepping back” means absolutely nothing. People will still boycott Elon and, as a result, Tesla. Elon is going to survive off American tax dollars because his businesses will tank: he’s a parasite.

Because it was our money to begin with and there should have never been interest on borrowing your own money. We wouldn’t need loan forgiveness if we had 0% interest. Hell, most thriving countries do not charge AT ALL for higher education.

I saw that - finally! We can continue to fight over the process that led to this happening and whether he should be returned, but the refusal to even let people lay eyes on him was incredibly concerning. So I’m happy they realized the optics of not allowing a conversation were really bad.
comment in response to post
I think we need to be most concerned about his declaration of a national emergency. He is allowed to expand his powers when a national emergency is declared. This is all [psychopathic/madness-driven] strategy
comment in response to post
If we ignore that he was granted temporary asylum and living legally in the US until he was kidnapped, there is still one glaring issue. Even if we couldn’t bring him back - there should be no problem with allowing someone to talk with him. Lay eyes on him. Prove his safety. Why can’t they do that?
comment in response to post
If he were in good health - or alive - there should be no problem with allowing a conversation to happen. Simply allow someone to lay eyes on him. But, for some nefarious reason, they won’t (or likely can’t) arrange that. It requires literally the bare minimum of critical thinking to see this.

We will not be able to afford those things; they are also the two leading industries for employment in the state. However, if we keep all of our federal income tax in state, we can largely afford to keep ourselves in tact. I get there are laws about this, but if he doesn’t follow them, why do we?
comment in response to post
Senator I am very serious: I believe you need to take a stand against federal income tax during this period of intense hostility. Massachusetts is able to offer healthcare to those who cannot afford it and higher education to every Massachusetts resident at no cost. If we lose federal funding
comment in response to post
Back our tax dollars, we need to withhold it from the federal government. Don’t want to fund us? Fine. We can fund ourselves. I’m serious, Liz. They aren’t playing by the rules. Why should we?
comment in response to post
Not at all - we know they are lying because they are claiming only 4000 jobs were lost last month. That is an outright lie and probably curated by carefully manipulated data
comment in response to post
If you ask news media and the White House, only 4000 people lost their job last month and we added 228,000 jobs. Their reporting is so misleading - why can’t people use basic critical thinking skills to cut through the major gaslighting by this current regime?
comment in response to post
How are those jobs comparing to the jobs people had before? How many are minimum wage that require people to claim public assistance (using our tax dollars to offset corporate greed that fails to pay people a livable wage)? This reporting is sloppy and attempts to make people think things are great
comment in response to post
People need to think critically. Does this mean 228,000 people were hired or is that how many job postings went up? You are going to tell me only 4000 people lost their job in March and somehow 228,000 new people got jobs? How many of those 228,000 left one job for another?

This is the new sharpie-gate. This administration is cruel and grossly incompetent. We are living in a dangerous time and playing a dangerous game here in ‘Murica right now.

Imagine being a Supreme Court judge and disparaging your colleague in public because of their political views (we don’t even see that among the federal Supreme Court justices who have blatant ethics issues to complaint about). This lady needs to resign - she is clearly vengeful

Everything Musk owns is leveraged by his Tesla assets. If they aren’t selling cars, they are primarily staying afloat because of government contracts. Corporate welfare costs us more in a week than welfare for families costs in a year…😁

Seems odd that both Republican candidates have 56% while both democrats have 42%. Just curious if anyone else finds that a little suspicious…

Looks like one of the neo nazis from the 90s who grew his hair out, threw on a suit, and hid his swastika tattoo but can’t completely hide his hate-filled heart.

Time to flip the tax code - let’s keep my 22% income tax here in MA and send my 8% to the federal government.

Russell Vought explained it in this leaked video. He wants to destroy multiculturalism in favor of his protestant evangelical theocracy. Erase , deport and incarcerate lgbtq, non whites and non believers. Says they'll use the military. youtu.be/UQjdwsZhE_Q?...
comment in response to post
We know this, Liz. We we agree. But it is not breaking through the noise. Democrats need a coordinated message, complete with repeatable slogans that address key specific items. We are ALL OVER THE PLACE right now. Which is exactly where Trump and MAGA WANT US
comment in response to post
You all need new branding and a new, consistent message. Find slogans that can be repeated while you highlight specific violations. But, more importantly, start vocalizing a roadmap for government reform. We can’t just be a party of disbelief. What is happening is real. We must face it head on

Wipe out humanity and start a whole new civilization with those who are left? Sounds about right…

My question is: if AI can apparently replace people for literally everything, what will we need people for? What is the end game? Are billionaires just going to pay us to stay home? Because that might be their best contribution to humanity, yet!

What.The.Actual.Fuck is wrong with these people?! Concerned about companies leaving Delaware? Fine! Great opportunity to build up small businesses and focus on the local economy. Keeping money local, in the pockets of our neighbors, That’s part of how you bring down the oligarchy.

This is what I mean. Who are they grooming to take over when Trump is gone? It wouldn’t make sense for them to go through all of this trouble for a short term plan like a Trump “presidency”
comment in response to post
What is odd about all of this is Trump is nearly 80 years old. This can’t be a plan that exclusively has him in mind because he won’t be around for much longer, simply based on chronological age. To go through all of this trouble just for 10 years of control seems silly - what’s their long term plan
comment in response to post
I have been saying this for a long time. I wouldn’t mind paying 30% of my income to taxes if it can all stay in my state to fund the things and people important to our residents.
comment in response to post
It is just another distraction. He is trying to get us to stop talking about the important things. He will go back on these tariffs again, just as he has every single time he has threatened their implementation. You should give this as minimal attention as possible
