Multiply that out by the different firmnesses you offer and it gets even more crazy! (never mind the $15k-$30k+ of inventory you end up holding with that many variations)

I've covered the breakdown of each segment in this post (part of the thread): bsky.app/profile/erot...

I don't think that is something I (or most other shops) would be comfortable doing as it would require sharing sales data that most companies regard as "commercially sensitive". Even if such a database existed it wouldn't necessarily be an accurate reflection due to things like wholesale pricing.

I'd love to see more larger penetrables as well, but I think that particular niche may be limited by the sheer cost. The silicone used by indies is very expensive compared to TPE/TPU, and a torso uses a LOT of material, meaning that an indie silicone torso would be very expensive

You're welcome, glad it helped!

I expect to see more indie companies working to capture part of this extremely large market that is dominated by massive factories with relatively boring models. Where do you see the industry headed or what would you like to see from indie stores?

So what do I think this means for the indie toy industry? Companies that survive and grow go where the market tells them. Currently the market wants high quality pretty humanoid dicks, as well as the more fantasy-themed models that most indies have historically relied on.

Accessories (double sided and finger hold suction cups) were also released alongside Mr Bowtie and again seem to be a mostly add-on revenue stream. Fantasy-themed models account for 65% of our sales, with the actual revenue from fantasy toys holding relatively steady compared to previous periods.

If we break down the original pie chart further the desire for humanoid models becomes even more clear, with Mr Bowtie taking a very clear second place behind Aearvon, our bestselling model for 3 years in a row.

The first thing that stuck out for me is how much of our revenue (21%) now comes from having a humanoid model, which was only released about 3.5 months ago. This also appears to be mostly sales we wouldn't otherwise have made, as fantasy sales are relatively steady compared to previous periods.
