and see how that turns out!
I'm also thinking of using this building for an oc's story of mine but we'll see (gotta decide on which one since it fits two I have in mind for)
If you read all the way through uh thank you!! I appreciate the time you took to read this! Hope to make more 3D stuff soon!

Despite my struggles I really enjoyed how it turned out and the physical model too (which I'll upload later too)!
Maya was difficult to learn and use for me and props to those who use it regularly but I enjoyed the process.
I think I will rebuild this in the future with blender-

to use to contrast parts of the building better through substance painter's community assets. Sadly because of the license us students were given it wasn't covered under Adobe so I could only use the ones already in the program.

Unwrapping the model wasn't too bad surprisingly! I spent like a day and a half doing it but it was sort of relaxing.

ended up causing me a lot of grief especially around this part of the structure where it wasn't as defined and I kept going back and forth between whether the bones would be heavily stylized or natural and it took me weeks to decide (and at this point it was getting near the due date too). So the-

Ngl this was a rough project for me. My idea was a church or tower like building that were made up of organic/skeletal elements like below with a gothic touch. Drawing it was a lot of fun but not going back and refining the shapes-
