Extra trivia:
I had planned for Kolya to be sitting among the ruins of a statue from the beginning, but it was in the sketch phase I decided to make the statue a lion. Because Verdant's prior parental figure was a cat beast, and Kolya is essentially replacing him.

it's hard to tell because the coloring, lines, and shading seem really consistent but the lizard mechanic I have a sneaking suspicion was altered by AI, because there are arrows pointing to the mechanical arm that note nothing and there's like a little barely-formed baby arrow
