Heads up that it looks like a huge portion of this project's promotional photos, "in-game" screenshots and more look to be AI-generated. 🤷‍♀️
I don't like that! But you can't AI-generate an e-reader so I'll stay cautiously interested in the overall project.

I turn 40 in a couple days.
First E3 was 2003.
I was 18. Almost missed my HS graduation to attend.
I had NO $ and literally lived on $0.50 Del Tacos that week.
Wrote for (I think?) gamerfeed.com
~7 of us in one hotel room.
I slept on the floor with my spare pants as my pillow.
I was so happy.

No sir that isn’t the distinction for me.
LIKE = top-down turn based dungeon crawler, like Rogue.
LITE = another genre with these elements. Random runs, permadeath, character builds. But not a top-down dungeon crawler.

On a personal level I think Halls of Torment is the best and only one to possibly exceed VS. Holocure is free and is truly excellent.
Nordic Ashes and Boneraiser Minions are stand-outs.
