Are you sure? I remember .com websites working fine I think. Might be misremembering. By the way your OAuth on GitHub is broken rn.

I just wish devs kept PCVR in mind. This one's not even releasing for PC. Must be the fault of that UnityXR plugin.

She makes the point GNOME flashback will be no more, which I can believe. I don't even know why she likes it so much, since the stock apps for it look modern while the rest of the UI is meant to look more dated. Applications just need to add support for Wayland, period.

I thought Corina was still with Sound Cadence after the Formosa thing happened. But they may have moved them to SIDE after, I really don't know.

Is Sound Cadence pulling a Formosa? What the heck? Why is Hoyo still working with them when they dropped Formosa last time this happened?? Do you have more context? I think lots of people are speculating based on assumptions rn.

Don't be like that. You can dislike her for any reason but that doesn't warrant this type of response.

Not everyone uses AI to replace artists. Not everyone would commission an artist if they didn't have access to AI tools. Most people just do it cuz they can. Now if a big corp were to replace artists with AI, that's different.

*created unethically

No I totally agree that supporting products that were obtained unethically is not good, but calling an ai generated image direct art theft just feels like an exaggeration, at least the way you worded it initially.

Yes, I understand that. My point was that it's not the same as stealing.

Yes but the creation of an individual image using an AI model is not the same as taking someone else's art. The creation of the AI model does that.

Yes, you could argue that indeed, however, its use to create a singular image does not strip that image from an artist. An AI model is trained on thousands of different artistic styles, which is arguibly unethically done, although I believe the burden is more on the company than the user.

I don't think using AI is the same as stealing art. Creating AI models based on people's art could be argued to be construed as stealing though.
