For anyone on #booksky trying to liberate their #ebooks from amazon and doing it on a Mac, I can now vouch the only workable method for an Apple Silicon Mac involves a trial version of Parallels, a trial version of Windows 11 Enterprise, three plugins for Calibre and an old version of Kindle for PC

Fuck Amazon! I have a Kobo ereader. I very rarely purchase from Amazon as they already suck, but have a couple of times in the past bought Amazon exclusive ebooks which I downloaded and converted so I could read on my Kobo. This won't be possible soon. www.theverge.com/news/612898/...
