It's at least got to be ten years bad luck for each tarp thrown. Leafs fans were leaving at the 10 minute mark. Game 7! Does no one in Toronto like hockey? Top goal scorers on your team and you don't believe they could bury a couple??? That's how legends are written!

Sens fan here as well, I can't see a reason why it wouldn't be GI. Same night Toronto deemed GI on the Flames when there wasn't any contact but the player had his skate in the blue -- like Gallagher said, inconsistent incompetence.

Even tired Stutzle has enough speed and skill to easily take the zone, skating through multiple Sabres defenders. While L1 was awarded with OZ face offs (Brady was 13/17 in the dot!) they might have better chances rushing from DZ FOs (L1 was 1 RAF and 4 RAA on the night).

The only CZE for L1 (Tkachuk, Stutzle, Zetterland) during the 3rd was actually carried in by Chabot during their line change -- Timmy would stay out for L2 in a frustrated offensive attempt. No one from their line would perform a CZE until the goalie was pulled.

"Much bigger" Brady had 2 hits against the leafs. Maybe he didn't find the body as he was too busy shooting the puck -- 2nd most shots for him this month. Xhekaj didn't even move when Bath was shooting so maybe there was no point in taking him out of the game for 5 min, lol.

LOL NEVERMIND

My line of pessimism though is that both goals against L4, since Zetterlund was added, have been in their 2 away games (when the other team gets the preferred matchup) -- they are 2/2 for getting scored on. Green might need to help them out with a better D pair tonight.

My line of optimism is that AG is on ice for 3x the amount of goals for then he is against (since Jan 1) -- this could be the night that we see the 4th line produce, despite their limited minutes. Zett adds an offensive danger that will, eventually, strike.

4th line is at .500 for allowing a goal in it's current iteration -- in an away game against MTL a big key to victory will be seeing them play their defensive best against their tough matchups.

The most unserious piece of fluff talk I've come across on Bluesky. Zibby is "intriguing" for the Senators? For Brady?

Lol, your bio is right. Cheers anyway.

You could be right, but you also called Matthew Highmore a defensemen so I'm willing to believe your whole take is wrong! T'was a thumpin, my guy.

Hate what I'm seeing too

Hate to see Sandy scored on, period, but this is another tally in the 85-can’t-play-every-minute of the game column. He needs off the PK. Kleven cant come back soon enough

Ok Smitty... did you see the deal? With what Picks were the Sens going to compete with? Smh

Misinformation -- Matthew was in talks but didn't want to sign for long term in Calgary. They're also different people in completely different situations. I get your angle but you're shoe-horning here. Brady is a Senator for at least the next 3 years.

Brady is beyond this -- people act like he doesn't play with Canadians (on the capital market team no less) and is unaware as to why the boos are happening. Same game he pounded his crest and later said he's trying to show the fans how much they mean to him.

Wednesday's game against the Blackhawks gives 19 one last chance to adjust his Magnetic Alignment. Fingers crossed. Otherwise he'll have scored as many goals "out west" last season as he has every other year of his contract, combined.

Bath's development stopped at fill-in-player making him everywhere but nowhere. There's no excitement seeing him on the ice. As a top 6 player, his contract is cheap, but as a bot 6 you're prolly overspending. AG makes 1/5th his salary and has 5v5 goals.

AG buried while Bath continues to show no strides in his development is a head scratcher, for me.

Crazy how this video is 2 hours long

Here's what I mean: Sandy can't close on the puck and winds up screening his own goalie game after game.
comment in response to post
Being tired means he can't get after the puck on the PK -- thinking of how stagnant our pk is lately? Sandy is literally on the ice for every second of the game and can't play an aggressive style kill (a la Pinto). We have 7 d, btw. #sens
comment in response to post
To point Sandy's shifts averaged 54s in Tampa with him stepping out on the ice 29 times (most TOI, obvi). By half way through the first he's played 2 back-to-back shifts a PP and a PK... look at him dog tired in this goal against

Why is this STILL a talking point. He woulda played if he coulda played. He's signing every kid's gear today -- he's here, he shows up, it's fine.
