'reality' Necropolis is Barstow, fan favorite & originally planned location, the Hub, I set the hub at Mojave, junktown would be by Isabella Lake (which we know existed or exists), and I get to use a mix of 'canon' raider gangs & orgs and my own.

Some notes: so we follow The Prospector, I drew her before, she finds a old book & map that intrigues her about Area 51. She sets off.
I set Shady Sands in the mountains of Tulare County, Vault 13 will be by Fresno, Vault 15 by the aqueduct. Makes sense, right? Way to reconcile the game maps w/

I've been keeping an eye on discord, the blog, & the only thing I noticed months ago, after the Clyde-AI-everywhere rumor, was the 'animate' thing. Faceswap, restyle, roast - didn't come up in the blog, & still don't.
