I was previously told by Republicans that the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan was one of history’s greatest scandals. But the chaotic withdrawal of *all* USAID from the whole globe?! Crickets.

Whether it's Hillary Clinton sharing risotto tips on a private email server or Elon Musk giving full access to all government information to a nineteen-year old named Big Balls with ties to a child pornography collective known for its extortion techniques, both sides have played loose with security.

Reps believe that they won’t own any problems generated by confirming these dangerously unqualified people to lead departments of the federal govt mostly because Dems never really hold them accountable. They know there’s massive risk, but they also don’t expect their vote to impact them electorally
