Gene Hackman was so underrated and under appreciated by too many.

100%. It’s why there has been thousands of articles about how the next tech bro company is going to both “save” and “revolutionize” the music industry and the film and television industries, despite doing nothing but killing jobs and revenues.

Oh this is going to end well…

Really feel for the CA bar exam takers today, who only because of the apparent incompetence, arrogance, and lack of respect or concern of the CA Bar, had to deal with an entirely preventable but predictable shit show of an exam full of technical and administrative failures.

When the French are more courageous and effective defenders of the 1st amendment than U.S. reporters are, you know shit’s bad.

Some people have the character and class that you have to respect. @maddow.msnbc.com both acknowledging the difficulties of her industry, but also more importantly the flaws of her employer, and giving recognition to her onscreen and offscreen colleagues is something few would do.

My Congressional representative Andy Ogles is such a pathetically desperate coward, who's only been lucky enough to avoid federal criminal charges and conviction because he's been glad to politically and verbally satisfy the equally pathetically desperate coward Donald Trump.

So glad I passed the CA bar exam last July before these changes occurred. Given the issues and disorganization that was obvious during the last routine admission before these changes, this isn't remotely surprising. A refund isn't enough, the test takers deserve more, and are rightfully furious.

If anyone ever says show up anywhere and show up without a lawyer, I'd show up with numerous lawyers.

It'll only be because of complete luck that large numbers of people don't end up seriously suffering for decades financially or physically, or even worse, as a result of the people running this administration's incompetence, self-interest, or outright intentional cruelty.

To help us all during this administration, I’m going to propose that it’d help if @maddow.msnbc.com return to doing her show on Fridays and bring back the cocktail moments.

Same with the Tennessee Bar Association.

As someone whose spouse is a microbiologist, everyone should be seriously concerned about this. Unfortunately, far too many aren’t. www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-o...

Yeah, this isn’t surprising. When you don’t have principles or actually care about anything but what’s best for you in the short term, you usually end up doing and saying some hypocritical, conflicting if not outright untrue, and really idiotic, if not horrible, things.

If this isn’t justified grounds for disbarment, then nothing else is either.

Love this!

Moronic doesn’t begin to adequately describe these decisions.

Shocker.

I have to ask, is anyone actually surprised by this? It fits right in with everything else they’ve subtly and not so subtly been saying and doing for years now.

Our country elects the dumbest fucking people...

Trans rights are human rights. Gay rights are human rights. Fuck right off if you think a human doesn’t deserve human rights.

Happy Birthday to my best boy Charlie who turns 7 today!

The cruelty is the point, and it pisses me off.

American audiences are not used to seeing women get proper retirement matches & ceremonies so that was REALLY cool to have happen here. This is what our legends deserve.

Love this.

it's a strange thing, being in film media right now. you reach out to a publicist about a film and learn the filmmaker just lost their home. others are evacuated. and still business is happening.

here's today's post: "no, idiots, Los Angeles isn’t on fire because of ‘diversity.’ shut the fuck up" — America’s bigots are at it again. thanks for reading, and please sign up for my daily newsletter to keep getting the good stuff —

Really hoping for all the best for all my friends and colleagues in California.

As songs go into the public domain today, be careful to understand that a song being in the public domain doesn't mean that any particular recording of that song is in the public domain.

This seems like a really dumb idea. Good luck, I guess. variety.com/2024/film/ne...
