Very strange #BBCTodayProgramme Nick Robinson and Rebecca Vardy joking about the weather in Myanmar for second day in a row. You're there to report on the death and suffering or thousands of people, not make idle chit chat about the weather.

Anyone know why a digital tax for the likes of Amazon, Google etc has never happened in the UK? It could raise money to help support our high streets, disabled and all the things that are being cut at the moment.

www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio... Completely agree. As a media professional myself I was aghast for the whole hour thinking who at ailing Thames Water thought this was a good idea. Drowning in slow motion would have been my headline 😉

Central line down at the moment because of serious incident at Bethnal Green @transportforlondon.bsky.social

Visiting Birmingham University yesterday it's shocking. Bin bags split open and litter strewn around. Birmingham litter is epidemic at best of times. Could this be a tipping point...no pun intended? www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025...

Yes, Government should crack down on unrestricted and noisy motorcycles, huge increase in rural areas. Can hear them for miles. BBC News - How our noisy world is seriously damaging our health www.bbc.com/news/article...

Oh! www.theguardian.com/education/20...

Great interviewing from Wilfred Frost @skynewsrss.bsky.social here. Not letting James Cartridge get away with dissemination. Need more of this from our news presenters in 2025.

Remembering on Holocaust Remembrance Day 💜

Left X yesterday after 12 years. Some disinformation. Musk doesn't cover smells, it makes them worse. Just need our tax funded institutions to get off it now.

Enjoying listening to hearing Suella Braverman getting an absolute pasting on @lbc.co.uk I'm here guest presenting slot at the moment 😀

Nice to see Minette Batters on BBC Radio 4 Today given endless non-challenging warm bath questions. No challenge back on her figures. Farmers can generally pass on nearly £3m or out their farms in trust to their children, have 10 years to pay. Need to research your stuff BBC.

New to Bluesky this month and can anyone point me in the direction of a thread that tells me what the Bluesky admin team do to prevent hate than the X admin team please? How can we be sure Bluesky won't end up lowest common denominator stuff too?
