the only ugly thing here is how wide and massive the intersection is, especially for stop signs

That is, until you realize that the city is 90+% HOAs and will never be fiscally sustainable

i agree with your argument, but this is more than reasonable. this only applies to K-9, and is only in classrooms, meaning that theyll still be able to access these books in a library

interestingly enough, not a single city in King County has removed parking mandates yet. redmond is close by removing mandates in their centers, but hopefully when they update their parking code to comply with 5184, theyll remove it citywide

all this would do is drive business out, the only thing that would somewhat work for businesses and homeless individuals would be a housing+job program, with the city or a 3rd party organization arranging both

There's issues with this including hygiene, tax reg, etc. Instead the city should create a program that acts as a middleman for jobs and housing, getting eligible homeless people that are interested in both

Of course, the East Link connection plans helps with this, but it focuses on turning existing routes into commuter routes, rather than connecting communities which is what a lot of what the routes cut in 2008 and 2013ish did
comment in response to post
That is true, but cutting bus service by approx 60% since 2008 and 2013 to cities east of Bellevue is just..

They're already paying their share, so they wouldn't want less bus service. If I were an elected in Sammamish, Issaquah, or North Bend, as much as I love transit I would vote to stop funding KC metro because of the horrible value they provide for tax dollars.

I've spoken to an Issaquah City Councilmember a while ago and they said communication with King County Metro is horrible, and they can't push through transit improvements that they want.

Do y'all know anything about metro removing electric busses from the 226/241 routes? Seem to have been gone for months
