all of which is to say we should nationalize facebook and make it a public utility along with the rest of the internet. trying to extract profit from the act of socialization online is toxic to our ability to communicate and ought to be abolished, & its progenitors shamed to no end

also! if you’re in a group chat with someone who does an “in minecraft” you can and should pipe up making note that that’s not a legitimate get out of jail free card and ensure they explicitly state they have no actual intent. don’t leave it open to fed interpretation.
