Started playing yesterday and wasn't so sure if I could get into it, y'know, because of dyscalculia.
Honestly though, playing is enough to understand and learn the rules, repetition is enough to have them stick, and the specific values don't really matter too much.

Matt Smith was great, but let down by poor writing choices in my opinion. Same for Peter Capaldi's - great Doctor but his run is where I fell off watching. Came back for Tennant return, but didn't stick around after that either, mostly because I don't really watch telly much anymore. 😅

Same! For whatever reason I couldn't get into Christopher Eccleston's Doctor at first, but went back to watch it a few years later and enjoyed his run too, but Tennant was the one that hooked me into watching in the first place!

On the one hand, if it is ultimately cloning a person's consciousness, why make the choice if we don't even get to experience it?
On the other, the clone does get to experience it, so maybe that's all that matters, especially if our consciousness is not the same from moment to moment anyway. 🤔

I think about things like this way too often tbh, especially in regards to like hypothetical teleportation or uploading one's mind to some type of computer - other issues associated with these types of technologies aside, for the sake of simplifying the hypothetical.
