Season 10 was a mixed bag. More drags than hits, but that’s just my opinion. (Seasons 8 and 9 are immaculate, as far as I’m concerned)

It is seriously the hardest one for me to watch.

Why, in this age of EVERYTHING being made more convenient and at our fingertips, has this book that’s only 21 years old just vanished?

And it’s not even for grad school! I just want to read it! It’s about how John’s gospel is more about conflict within the Jewish communities of the day and less about historic fact. It’s just a fun book to read!

I have zero idea what this book would cost. It’s an academic book so it could be as low as $23 or as high as $230. No one has it for sale. There might be a scan but I want the real thing for my shelf, to read at my leisure, instead of grabbing my iPad.

Amazon doesn’t have it used or new. Neither does eBay. I’ve tried addall.com, biblio.com, Etsy. Nothing. I wrote to the publisher, they said they can’t help if the book is older than 20 years old. I’d write to the author be he died 11 years ago.

I saw this was becoming available! But I feel like the director’s work is already so many other places. I have “Viy” on a folk horror box set and “Sampo” got did by MST3K. (Really, all these deserve riffing)

The guy who made the pizzas in the place next to my office had a big one on his arm, but I kept going back because they’d put taco meat on the pizzas and no one since has ever done that for me.

I’m using the list you posted to go find a s***-ton of J-horror films to watch. I don’t have a ton of time to watch full films, but I can space them out over a couple hours. Thanks for posting!

I never understood what “hard-hitting journalism” was, and honestly, it’s too late to learn.

Depending on how you want to define soft Paganism through a lens of Platonic ideals, Chernobog and Hades could technically really exist.

@itsmattmcg.bsky.social Hello! I like your work! Haven’t seen you do any riffing but you stood out during the kickstarter streams! Thanks for all you’ve done to get the show back off the ground!

“Starve Acre”, a folk horror book that became a film with Matt Smith, was one of the previous publications!
