Brain tumor ate my RN career. Annoyingly helpful. I'm changing the things I can no longer accept.

This is the time to bring them into the resistance. Stop looking backwards, that's not the direction we're going.

Neither Andry, Neri, or Arturo, or any of the other men sent to El Salvador got due process. No judge ruled that they were part of a gang. No jury convicted them of criminal charges. They weren't even told what was going to happen.
Fix this stain on our nation. Bring them back.

Arturo Suárez, another man with no criminal record, has also been there for a month. He's a vocal artist who was recording a music video in North Carolina when ICE agents descended and grabbed him and everyone there.
His daughter just wants daddy back.

A month ago Trump also sent innocent man Neri Alvarado to El Salvador, a man whose autism awareness tattoo somehow got him tagged a "gang member." He's also being imprisoned incommunicado, with not even a proof of life allowed.
Family and friends in Venezuela recorded this heartbreaking video.

Not sure why you're hanging out with an election denier who voted against supporting Ukraine and opposed Juneteenth. Even though you're both elected officials from the same state, you don't have to visit bases together. But you know that, and decided to do it anyway. Bad call.

It’s a half truth.
An immigration judge said that the PGPD gang worksheet alone was sufficient evidence to show membership in MS-13 for the purposes of bond despite the judges’s acknowledgement of some issues with it.
The BIA later declined to rule this was clear error and affirmed that decision.

So people who use screen readers can access data visualizations, would you please consider including an accessible format (alt text) when including them in your posts? Instructions on doing so efficiently can be found in this very short article: medium.com/nightingale/...

If you see “El Salvador” on the package—don’t buy it. Check every label. Let’s send a message. Asking or international supporter to join in also.

Thanks for reporting on this. In response, here's Harriet Powers & one of her remarkable bible quilts. Powers was born enslaved & used her quilting skills to create beautiful story quilts with scenes from the bible & recent history; only two are known to survive collections.mfa.org/objects/116166

5:35 p.m. ET and no word yet from DOJ ...
It feels like just yesterday DOJ was telling Judge Xinis that she needn't make any additional demands because DOJ was faithfully filing daily status updates.
Oh, wait—it WAS yesterday! storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
