Weekend or not, there’s no excuse for this kind of outage. Again: Neither Steam, or even Microsoft for that matter, has suffered these kinds of outages.
And no, I’m not a Sony hater, I have a PS5. There’s just no excuse for an outage of this severity on a major platform like this.

It’s still an issue for an entire service that hundreds of millions of people use every day to go down for nearly 24 hours; and it’s a massive vulnerability when a system controlled by a single entity has that kind of outage.
Steam has never suffered from this kind of issue in comparison.
