One of my goals this year was to make friends, and I’ve been really loving my new book club. Last night, we met at a nature reserve south of my city and did a guided foraging hike, learning about native plants and their uses. Along the way, we met a hungry moose cronching leaves!

I’m so excited, I could burst. I’m getting two of the old windows from my childhood church so I can repurpose them into beautiful glass artwork. The church is one of the few things I still have connecting me to my grandmother, and she ensured those windows were preserved for decades.
