Grapheme is actually referring to letters, words, and numbers. Sound and color is Chromesthesia. Sound to taste would be Auditory-gustatory.

Like a game board! I never made that connection but its just like that! Years run counter clockwise for me too, but then all time, as more of a line shape, curling upwards. Another name is Spatial Sequence Synesthesia.

I have this as well. It is indeed a form of synesthesia called time-space synesthesia. Do years take on a circular shape for you too Do you have other types like grapheme color?
